PSBN Nichola

School Owner

School Owner PSBN Nichola is a 3rd Degree black belt who started her training 2008 when her daughter achieved her blackbelt. Since then she has transformed from nervous Kuk Sool mum to an 11 time Grand Champion who has travelled all over the world to compete.
Among her tournament successes are gold medals at two World Championships, her most cherished being achieved in Korea in 2013.
Nichola Continues her training under 5th Degree Master PKJN Graham Philp and retains a great passion for Kuk Sool Won and its comprehensive syllabus, which she is now delighted to share with the community and families of Winchburgh.
Kuk Sool Won really is a very family friendly martial art which PSBN Nichola's family is an example of with no less than 7 black belts between 1st and 4th degree among her family members.

Adam

Regular Guest Instructor - Gymnastics and Acrobatics

Adam was a professional athlete and Team GB gymnast, he competed for Scotland in his first Commonwealth Games in 2002 at the age of only 15 and continued to compete and win medals for Scotland and Great Britain in multiple Commonwealth Games, European Championships and World Championships between 2002 and 2014.
Adam began his career as a PE Teacher in 2011 and has worked in a variety of primary and high schools throughout West Lothian through the years. He has now settled at Cedarbank School, an additional support needs school in West Lothian. Adam uses his experience and love of sport to try to inspire the next generation of young people to be the best that they can be, but more importantly find a love of sport and all the social, physical and mental benefits, and opportunities, that sport creates. This is a philosophy that is very much in line with what we hope to achieve at Kuk Sool Won of Winchburgh.
As well as helping our students, Adam also teaches our instructors how to teach and support some of the acrobatic elements of the Kuk Sool Won syllabus.
